Please note the following requirements
Required documents for riding the ferry:
if you plan to ride the Delma ferry, make sure you have the following documents with you before proceeding to the port:
•Valid ID: any official and valid ID such as passport, Emirates ID, Driving License or employment card.
•Vehicle Registration Card: in case you would like to transport your vehicle on the ferry.
Ferry passengers are advised to be present at the boarding gates at least fifteen (15) minutes prior to the departure time highlighted in the timetable.
Safety Considerations
Please follow the instructions below to ensure a safe a safe and pleasant journey on board the Department of Transport Ferries:
• Arrive at the terminal 30 minutes before Ferry departure
• Follow the instructions of terminal employees and ferry crew
• Follow the crew instructions while parking your car on board the Ferry
• Leave the car deck and proceed to the passengers’ deck, 5 minutes before ferry departure
• Watch the safety video played on the passengers’ deck at the beginning of the trip
• Follow the crew's instructions in case of any emergency
• Inform the crew immediately of any emergency as soon noticed
• Read the safety instructions fixed on the passengers deck and car deck
• Passengers are not allowed in the Steering Room and Machinery Rooms
• Last but not least - Follow your event organizer..............
