February 29 is a special day. It doesn't simply roll around every year, you know. The purpose of this event is to mark the day in a special way, with new geo-connections and old friends, trading trackables and geo-tips, and getting some exercise.

This is intended to be a high-difficulty, high-terrain event. Is it difficult for you to wake up really early on a Monday morning? Either way, enjoy the extra half-star of difficulty. We will meet at the event location at 8:00 am, so leave plenty of time to hike in from the parking area. At 8:00 am, photos and stories will commence. The event will go till 8:30.

Bring your trackables ... and your camera! The event will take place at the posted coordinates for 30 minutes. Please sign the logbook during that time. Random FTF drawing a few minutes before the end of the event. After the event, you're on your own, but hey, you may wish to enjoy the great geocaching at the Ranch!

Please, please post a "will attend" log if you will be coming. We want to know who will be there so we can keep an eye out for you out on the trail and, of course, at the event. And enjoy the souvenir you received today during Leap Day 2016! You earned it!
