To kick off the Foley Geocaching Weekend, sponsored by the City of Foley and the Foley Public Library, we will have a Meet-n-Greet Event at the Foley Public Library on Friday, Feb 26, starting at 6 pm. Please bring a food dish to share with fellow geocachers. The library will supply all paper products, plastic ware, cups, and drinks.
This is a time to re-acquaint yourself with geocachers you’ve not seen for awhile and a chance to meet new geocachers, too. Come prepared to share a geocaching story and eat some good food. Geocachers are known for bringing some “good eats!” Info on Saturday’s and Sunday’s events will also be shared. We will also have drawings for a few prizes with one being a Large Bigfoot Geocoin!
The Foley Public Library closes to the public at 5 pm on Fridays. Please come to the back doors for entrance to the building. A back door will be opened for admittance starting at 5:30 pm.
The Foley Geocaching Weekend includes this Meet-n-Greet event on Friday, Feb 26, a “Leapfrog/Bead It” Event on Saturday, Feb 27, and a CITO on Sunday, Feb 28, 2016. We hope you can join us for all three events!
