Geocache Description:

Expanding the Sand Creek Series of caches. Gravel country road. Parking across the road from cache site.

When I was a little girl this road was un-improved.... This section, leading over the hill to the southwest, was called “Sugar Hill" according to my mom, and had the prettiest fine, white sand. You had to be careful not to drive out of the packed ruts, or you might get your car stuck in the deep sand.

And now the county, in its infinite wisdom, has covered over the last of the lovely white sand with some sort of horrible surface that almost immediately developed potholes and corrugations. (sigh) Can't win for losing. Oh well, I guess I'll leave the cache name as it is anyway.

Congrats to grizbeer for the FTF!
