A small cache with a screw top lid hidden at the bottom of Greendale Avenue. The main road (Holymoor Road) was originally called Doghole Lane. It was renamed Holymoor Road when it was widened in the 1930s. A house near the junction used to be the police house, it belonged to the village policeman.
Stealth is an absolute must here as residents overlook GZ from all sides.
Please make sure cache lid is secure and the cache is rehidden out of sight. There is a pencil and a logbook inside.
PLEASE NOTE: The cache isn't on the caravan or in a driveway, so please don't touch them.
Well done to cats-eyes for FTF
This is no.1 in a series of caches through greendale fields. All of the caches are located on public footpaths or pavements, with some a few feet to the side. Dogs are allowed in the fields but watch for cows and bulls and please pick up any dog mess. The caches have a 24/7 attribute because they are accessible all the time. However, it is best to do them in daylight hours so you don't alarm the residents of Holymoorside.
Due to the new location, an FTF is available.
