Geocache Description:

The Meadowview property consists of 22 acres owned by the Harwinton Land Trust.  The property includes a pond, a pretty marsh, old farm roads, stonewalls, boardwalks and has the wonderful smell of wild grapes during autumn.  The geocache is in the back part of the property.  The trail is relatively flat for most of the way.

This is the fourth geocache located on the properties of the Harwinton Land Trust.  The property was donated to the Trust in 1988.  Recently, trails have been added making access to the property easier for the public.  The trails include over 200' of boardwalks over wet areas along the marsh and pond.

You can print a map of the property from the Harwinton Land Trust webpage www.harwintonlandtrust.org and clicking on the Meadowview link.

The trailhead is located near the gravel parking area, walk along the road next to the small pond towards the land trust sign.

The geocache is in an office geocache container (clear).
