A log-only cache for a coveted Leap Day Find. Best to access while heading westbound on Hwy 20. Park off Hwy 20, or park in the obvious places near GZ — if you dare to go IN the OUT way. At elevation 3,500 feet, the hide area can experience brief periods of snow.
Please re-hide so that TOTT is NOT NECESSARY.
If your geosense is fully operational, this could be a Park & Grab. If not, it may take a little longer.
Be patient with your GPSr. One minute, you could be 40-50 feet off. The next minute, you could be 5 feet away.
I got the best GPSr results by walking downhill on the little-used paved road until Hwy 20 was no longer visible, then turning around and heading back. Searching in a downhill direction from Hwy 20, it was harder (to pinpoint GZ).
USE CAUTION RE-ENTERING HWY 20. WESTBOUND TRAFFIC IS SPEEDING AND MAY NOT EASILY SEE YOU PULLING OUT.
