Geocache Description:

The coastal track between Kiama and Gerringong offers many locations for caches. The Hermits Cave is very accessable and most people walking the coastal track pass by it without even knowing of its existance. There is no defined path to the cave  but there are a number of ways to access it via your own self made moderate grass and rock hopping.

This small abode has been given many names but those who use it often refer to it as the Hermits Cave. Over time it has sheltered a varied group of users ranging from abalone divers, fisherfolk and surfers. Sitting in this cave offers an uninterrupted view of the ocean not far from its rocky doorstep. When you arrive at the cave take time to just sit and take in the soul of all those who have visited and dwelt within it.
