A Letterbox Hybrid: look closely at the picture before you head out. In addition to the normal logbook and trade items, it also contains a letterbox stamp, inkpad, and stamp book. Please do not remove the stamp, ink pad, or stamp book. THEY ARE NOT TRADE ITEMS!
The Little Dude and I hiked the Ballantine trail, and found one section without any geocaches. We brought a letterbox hybrid, and hid it under a rock that reminds us of the Easter Island rock from Night at the Museum ("dum dum, you give me gum gum"). The difficulty to this letterbox will be the hike, not the find. You will have a 3 mile hike with 1200 feet of elevation gain from trailhead to cache, and the same going back. Once you get there, it should be a straightforward find.
