Geocache Description:

This cache has been placed very close to a footpath and car park. It can be done as a cache and dash but if you are feeling energetic continue down the path and seek out some more caches located in this lovely area .

The cache has been given it's name firstly because it is placed close to the entrance of what used to be Royal Air Force Mount Batten before the base closed in 1992. A place for which I have very fond memories as I worked there for 6 years. Secondly because I have come across very few caches beginning with the letter X.

The container does not contain a writing implement, please use a ball point pen as the log is made of waterproof paper
