The council has provided a number of amenities including BBQ area, children's playground, and public toilets. A nice surprise is the addition of an exersite, there are four suggested workouts that you can choose to do at the exersite
You can take a walk on the beach or via the track, some has boardwalk.
Dover is a lovely seaside town. It's a good place to base yourself if you want to explore the far south. There are tourist attractions such as Hastings Caves and Pool, the Ida Bay railway and the Tahune Airwalk ( via Geeveston). Also access to plenty of short walks, like Duckhole Lake, Southport Lagoon, South Cape, Hartz Mt walks (via Geeveston). This summer I managed 8 walks and there are still more to do.
