Surrey Camping Event #3

When logging your intent to attend on this event page, can you please also state the number of adults, children and dogs and the nights that you will be camping.

For those of you wishing to attend but not wanting to camp, there will be an offsite meet at Blacksmiths Head; Newchapel Rd, Lingfield, Surrey RH7 9LE – from 12pm - 2pm on Saturday the 02 July 2016. The Log book will be at the pub during this time so that people can log the camping event by attending the offsite meet.

The pub is within easy walking distance of the campsite and car park isn't very big. Could any campers planning on attending the pub, could they consider using foot power instead of horse power please or arrange a car share?? The pub is dog friendly. Can you please indicate on your log if you intend to attend the pub part of the event as well so I can let the pub know rough numbers for staffing and ordering.

The campsite did raise a concern about additional vehicles onsite from 2014, if you plan to bring more than one vehicle camping, please let me know and the campsite beforehand. (It might incur an additional charge as the campsite is trying to discourage "turning the campsite into a car park") However if you're polite and accommodating which I know you all are, then I'm sure some arrangement can be agreed upon.

Other Info:
Waterpistols -
After a very memorable water fight on the Saturday in 2015, there is a good chance another will probably occur. To survive, as the weather has been generally been good as over previous events and will hopefully will be again. So I’m making this recommendation to get at least one..
BBQ's - are permitted, but must be off the ground.
Fires - Permitted only in a safe container which must be raised from the ground (i.e. BBQs/firepits/firebowls). With all fires, including BBQs, always keep a bucket of water handy (bring your own bucket).
Dogs - are allowed on site but need to be kept on a lead(s).

Water Fight

The campsite does have the normal onsite facilities. [Men and women's toilets, washing up sinks, a shower block. (However to take a shower does cost 50p/12mins of hot water)]. There is even easy access to a footpath, if you so wish .

If you have any questions about this event, then please contact me through my profile or the campsite directly, (depending upon the relevance of the question and who could best answer it).
