Situated near XiaoGeTou village in the ShiDing district of New Taipei City, K2 Nature Center was established in 2001. It was the first non-government-funded, environmental education center in Taiwan. The center’s mission was to promote the general understanding of nature and our environment through environmental education and experience-based activities, ultimately encouraging the general public to get involved in the improvement of our environment and environmental issues.
