Geocache Description:

Take your time and enjoy a walk through the Bardwell Valley Parklands. You'll also need to take your time when you find the cache. Please DO NOT WALK ON THE PLANTS and replace with sufficient camo.

This small piece of biodiverse bushland and wetland has been preserved from the urban sprawl and is home to many unique flora and fauna including the endangered Sydney Turpentine Ironbark. The walkway is popular with walkers so keep an eye out of muggles.

This cache contains a clue that you will need to locate Khe Sanh - Bardwell Valley Parklands #4.

This series is named after songs by the band Cold Chisel. Flame Trees is a song off the 1984 album, Twentieth Century. Lyricist Don Walker said in a 2015 interview that “In my mind it’s a northern New South Wales song. But there’s a lot of people who love that song and in their minds it’s set in their home towns. It’s a beautiful piece of music.” Have a listen to the song to remind yourself of the 80's or aquatint yourself with some classic Australian storytelling for the first time.

No TBs or swag please. When you find it you'll understand why. Replace everything as you found it to make it enjoyable for the cachers that follow you.

Please do your best to practice CITO as there can be a lot of debris deposited on the creek after heavy rain and flooding.

Note: The cache was moved from it's original position in Dec 2016 to not draw the ire of an overly curious local muggle.
