This series is named after songs by the band Cold Chisel. Flame Trees is a song off the 1984 album, Twentieth Century. Lyricist Don Walker said in a 2015 interview that “In my mind it’s a northern New South Wales song. But there’s a lot of people who love that song and in their minds it’s set in their home towns. It’s a beautiful piece of music.” Have a listen to the song to remind yourself of the 80's or aquatint yourself with some classic Australian storytelling for the first time.
No TBs or swag please. When you find it you'll understand why. Replace everything as you found it to make it enjoyable for the cachers that follow you.
Please do your best to practice CITO as there can be a lot of debris deposited on the creek after heavy rain and flooding.
Note: The cache was moved from it's original position in Dec 2016 to not draw the ire of an overly curious local muggle.
