I found this tree on the northwest bank of the pond. In the northeast corner of the pond there is a very clear path from the pond, across the trail, under the barbed wire fence, and down into a slough to the east.
It is fascinating to see how much biodiversity we have in such a heavily populated area. I have seen beavers swimming down Langham Creek on two different occasions, and have seen many trees like this all over the Addicks and Barker reservoirs. The resourcefulness and adaptability of these wild animals is remarkable. They are doing an amazing job holding their own in little pockets of wilderness like this.
Spoiler Alert !! You are looking for an ammo can. I have had several ammo cans stolen so this one is secured with a cable and padlock. The combination is 7 - 33 - 03.
Here are some instructions for those of you who haven't work a combination lock since junior high.
Turn right three times. Stop at 7.
Turn left one full turn passing 1st number and stop at 33.
Turn right and stop at 3. Pull shackle.
Congrats to Pierre (Tipete) from Montreal, Canada FTF
