I, and a few of my geocaching friends, will be at Springwood Park, Kelso for the dog agility show on Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th April, and then Friday 22nd April to Sunday 24th April 2016. We’d love to meet the local cachers, especially those of you who have been hiding the caches around the area that we’re now finding on mass.
Please come along and say hello – meet at Springwood Park, Kelso at 12:30-13:00hrs on Saturday 23rd April 2016. There is parking at the venue – please following the signs for Day Parking and keep to a strict 5mph speed limit (walking pace). There may be loose dogs running around.
The agility show starts at 8:30am and continues until mid-late afternoon, and is well worth a look.
Anyone wishing to bring their own geo-dog is welcome, but the Kennel Club rules require you to book in at the secretary’s marquee. Please do NOT bring dogs if they have been in contact with any infectious diseases within the 21 days leading up to the show, and keep them on a lead around the rings and in the parking/camping areas.
The meeting place is suitable for wheelchairs and buggies. The show is held on grass - which if the weather is kind to us should be suitable for all, but if it's wet and muddy then is unlikely to be.
There will be a burger van on site, and if the weather is nice possibly an ice cream van.
