Geocache Description:

The Scout Abouts are at it again! This time we are going to tackle the heights to summit the highest Peak in Candia, Hall Mountain! OK, if you are thoroughly intimitadated by a winter ascent of Bear Brook's highest peak, no need to worry. The 941' of elevation makes it only the 3rd highest peak in Rockingham County and the 620th highest peak in New Hampshire. From the parking area on Podunk Rd you are already well above half way.

We are going to meet at the parking area on Podunk Rd at 2 pm for our hike to the summit and back. Plan on up to 2 hours for the trek. This time of year the trail can be icy and slippery so micro spikes are highly recomended. Depending on the conditions this might be a great snowshoe hike. Remember winter hiking can cause dehydration as easily as summer hiking so remember to bring your water bottles. See you there!
