The G On The Tree Traditional Cache

Due to lack of activity I have decided to archive the multi that this cache was once part of, re-hide and replace containers and make each stage a sepeerate cache. You are looking for a small bison tube. Please take care to replace and camo. the tube exactly as you found it to avoid muggling.

THE G ON THE TREE...

So many memories from my childhood days on this road. Before people started illegal dumping you could drive down these dirt roads and exploore. My late uncle Carlo G. owned several acres of land on Cooks Pond he had a very nice cottage on the pond and a smaller fishing type shanty guest cottage here as well. Carlo was a teacher in Plymouth and ended up being a principal at a school in NJ. In his absence my Grandfather would keep an eye out on the property which even back then in the 60s was a prime target for partying kids and vandalisim. My grandfather would often take my brother and I along on the ride down Cooks Pond Rd. to check out the property. The tin G you will see on a tree very close to where this cache is hidden was put there by my uncle back in the 50s to guide guests to his cottage down the correct fork in the road. This tin letter has been there for well over 60 years. My brother and I would always struggle to be the first one to see the G as my Grandfather would drive his car down the bumpy dirt road.
