Geocache Description:

This cache is located along the Shawnee Race Trail at James A. Reed Wildlife Memorial Area. Access to the cache must be made through the main gate during open hours. Parking coordinates are provided. It is located about 15 feet off the trail. Biking, Hiking, Horseback Riding, Fishing, Archery and Hunting are some of the activities available.

James A. Reed Regulations:

a.  Check area office for rules, regulations and closings.
b. Closed to public use from 7pm - 6am standard time and 10pm - 6am during daylight savings.
c. All pets must be on a leash. No vehicles off road.
d. Do not trespass on private property.
e. The area is open to hunting and fishing and encourage the wearing of hunter orange clothing whenever
hunting seasons are open (September 1 -     March 5).
f. Managed archery deer hunt is 10/31/2016 - 11/11/2016.
g. The area is closed during the managed muzzleloader deer hunt 11/14/2016- 11/18/2016.
