Geocache Description:

As we were out caching around Kansas it was very noticeable that there were fewer Honey Bees than there ever use to be fly around. Some say it is due to a Bee worm or virus that killed them off.  However that is not what happened.

And now for the rest of the story …

Out caching one day we ran across a Huge Bear in the woods with his nose to the ground looking for honey.  The Bear was sniffing and pawing and tearing apart logs and trees until suddenly he looked up and saw a large swarm of bees.  Where there are bees there is honey, so the Bear chased the large swam and began eating them only to find they were full of honey looking for a new hive.  The honey that the bees carried was so sweet and tasty, the bear feasted on more and more of them until soon there were no more bees and the swarm had been completely consumed.

That is the true reason why Honey Bees have all disappeared in Kansas.  Find the Cache the last known location of Honey Bees in Kansas.
