Welcome to yet another Wherigo! This is the first Wherigo in Renton and highlights downtown Renton's Liberty Park, a park that has just about something for everyone!
Wherigos are "played" via mini programs called cartridges that you must download BEFORE you can play the wherigo and find the cache. Visit the "Related Web Page" link at the top of this cache page to download the cartridge. Wherigo cartridges can be played on various formats to include Garmin Colorado, older Garmin Oregon, Garmin Nuvi 500 GPS units, as well as iPhones and Android phones via Wherigo apps that you need to download to your phone. You could even play Wherigos on an iPad or similar Android device also running a Wherigo app. When you click on the "Related Web Page" link, you will be directed to the Wherigo web page. You can also download the cartridge HERE. IF you are using your smart phone to play the cartridge, remember to use the drop-down menu option for "Pocket PC Devices" as this is the only way the cartridge will work on your phone. For Garmin Colorado, Oregon & Nuvi 500 GPS units, you would use the appropriate drop-down option for your specific GPS unit.
With housekeeping out of the way, we can discuss the cache. You will not find this cache in or near Liberty Park. It is, however, within two miles of Liberty Park. To find the final coordinates, simply play the cartridge. Please make note of the cache attributes. The cache is a daylight ONLY cache. A hint is provided if need one. Oh yeah, to sweeten the hide, I placed some cold hard cache (cash) as an FTF prize.
