This is the second Geocache I’ve hid. My first cache, “Sharp Park Geocache” became missing in action in April 2002. “Sharp Park Geocache II” is a replacement located in another part of the park.
The cache was upgraded in April 2003 to a camouflaged plastic jar and may be hard to find. Because of limited space in the cache container, small trinkets should be left. Trinkets should be approximately the size of matchbox cars, key chains, golf balls, etc.
It is not necessary to bushwhack in order to find this cache. FIND A TRAIL! Many trails in the park are appropriate for mountain biking with children. However, this geocache’s trail will probably be too challenging for children under 12.
HAVE FUN! Sharp Park is a very complete destination for the family; the facility includes more than 500 acres, an 18-hole golf course, a golf training facility, mini-golf, a planetarium, historical museum, art museum, and a restaurant.
