Geocache Description:

This is my first attempt at placing caches.  A flat(ish) loop of approximately 3.5 miles on the edge of Milnthorpe Village.  I generally prefer a more cross-country route but as this is my first attempt at placing caches, Ive kept this simple, following a country lane and then the main roads into Milnthorpe.

Most caches on the series are of average size with just a pencil and log although there are a few sneaky little caches along with one or two large enough for a little caching treasure.

This short, simple series can be completed on foot or cycle although I wouldn't recommend trying the whole thing as a drive by series as one half follows busy stretches of road while the other half is on quite narrow country lanes. PLEASE BE CAREFUL OF TRAFFIC AROUND THIS SERIES.

This series will bring you pleasant views over the bay towards Arnside and across to Grange-over-sands to the West and Milnthorpe summer castle (St Anthony's tower) to the East.  You may get a glimpse of the deer over Dallam as well as wildlife such as ground nesting birds along Milnthorpe sands.  The village of Milnthorpe has plenty to offer including several quality pubs, takeaways and shops as well as plenty to offer those interested in its historical side - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milnthorpe

please place back in same place thank you as last two caches went missing,
