Geocache Description:

A MAGNETIC 35mm Film Container.

'Fat Man's Squeeze' is a name given to a short passage of steps in Jarrow that lead from the Lakes Estate down to Mallam's Farm Bank. The reason behind the name is unknown but according to the local kids, legend has it that a long time ago a very 'large' man was trying to make his way down the steps and got stuck. He eventually died of starvation because he was unable to free himself and it is now said that his spirit tirelessly wanders up and down the steps looking for food... kids eh!

The area can be very slippery & wet due to a lot of leaves and vegetation so take care when trying to find and be especially cautious after-dark.

It is a frequently used short-cut by dog walkers and pedestrians so be wary of muggles and be as stealthy as possible.

PLEASE try to remember EXACTLY where you found the cache and place it EXACTLY where you found it... we've had some bother with this recently. Craig and Karen x
