Kid Adventures 3...Pappaw's Bridge Traditional Cache

For this geocache you will cross a walking bridge over the river and hike along a paved walking path followed by a graveled walking path.

The Kid Adventure Series is designed for cachers both big and small. The caches will hopefully unlock hidden secrets in the community that are fun for families. This geocache is placed near the new Eel River walking bridge. This bridge was build by my grandfather and his construction crew. My son even helped him out a little. Because of that, I wanted to place a cache here. There are also some others in the area. You begin by parking at the park near the bridge. It is here you start a short hike along a paved walking trail. Be on the lookout for a graveled trail that shoots off the main one. This is the trail you will need to take. The geocache will be located near the trail. It is in a camoflaged container about the size of a peanut butter jar.

When you are finished take the kids to the playground, play mini golf, ride the carousel, or listen for the ice cream truck.

Be sure to bring a pen and watch for muggles.
