Perfect place to park while you hike the trail, and a decent enough little beach to take a dip to cool off when you're done. This is where the locals used to "go to the beach" before every 16 year old had a car at their disposal. It's not real big, but it has sand, gets decently warm in the summer, and not many people use it. We used to have our swimming lessons here in the summer, so we spent a lot of time here. You might even see some Bald Eagles here, or the consolation prize, Seagulls.
