BYOP. Please park at the provided waypoint as the surrounding streets are no parking areas. It is just a short walk from the parking area to the cache on level terrain. This should be quick and easy for most. This is a HIGH MUGGLE location so please use stealth while you are here. Do not hunt this cache at night. This cache is winter-friendly.
The "Crescent Lawn" is a small pocket park located in the Summerset neighborhood in Northwest Ames. This area has really been built up over the past ten years and continues to grow. I'm not sure why this is called a "crescent" because it really isn't crescent shaped... maybe named after a person? Hard to say. AHS is building a new baseball and softball complex to the east of the area near ground zero. I expect that will provide some good hides in the future.
