"Do You Believe In Magic" was wrote by John Sebastian, a founding member of The Lovin' Spoonful. It was first recorded by The Lovin' Spoonful in 1965 and peaked at Number 9 on the Billboard charts. The song has been covered a few times, most notably by Shaun Cassidy in 1977 and has been featured in numerous films. But it is the classic Lovin' Spoonful version for which this cache is dedicated. It is ranked number 216 in Rolling Stone's list of the 500 greatest songs of all time. If you would like some groovy musical accompaniment while you work the following puzzle, click on the Related Web Page link near the top of the page and enjoy some good old time rock and roll.

The following fifteenth-order magic square was constructed in the early 1600's.  The author is unknown.

To solve the puzzle place numbers (1-225) in the squares so that the sum of every row, column and main diagonal is the same. I have given you many numbers to start you off. No number is repeated.  Place the numbers from the squares with letters in them in the following to find the coordinates to the cache, which is a log only (bring your own writing implement).

A*B.0C    W 094*D.E

That is a "zero" before the C.

The cache area is easy to get to with ample parking but muggles could be around depending on the time of the day so stealth, (no, not this kind of Stealth), just the regular old geostealth, will be required.

Permission for this cache placement has been given by Platte County Parks.
