This is a five part series taking you on a three mile walk around Hambleton Farm in Syston. You are able to park on the verge of station road itself, or street side in the village.
The terrain is a level, stony farm track that can get muddy in wet weather. In the harvest season you may need to give way to farm vehicles, please be cautious.
The route is suitable for young children but could be difficult for those with buggies or wheelchairs. The track is a public right of way and the landowners are my family; these caches have been placed with their express consent. Please be considerate to the environment and avoid leaving litter doggy doo-doos behind.
This series is placed in memory of my grandparents, whose home on The Drift overlooked the farm that you are walking around. Thank you so much for taking the time to check it out today.
Good luck, and happy caching!

The bridge onto Hambleton Farm crosses over the River Witham, which flows almost entirely through the county of Lincolnshire. It’s course is regarded as one of the strangest of all British rivers and it’s name ‘Witham’ is of extremely old and unknown origin pre dating Anglo-Saxon, Roman, and even Celtic influence.
Growing up I spent most of my weekends and summers playing on this farm, specifically on (and under) this bridge. My first cache is hidden here as a reminder of great memories. This area is popular with dog walkers and fishermen, exercise extreme muggle awareness! The cache is anchored and you should face no issues retrieving and signing without removing said anchor :)
