The Commander was the Energy Manager for the Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs and was involved in conserving energy and promoting renewable energy on a day by day basis. As such, I thought it would be fun to put together a series of caches that took you to places in Madison where Solar Energy is being harnessed.
RumDum notified me that because of Judge Doyle Square preps MG&E was dismantling the solar parking and asked if he should retrieve the cache at that one for me. I said THANKS and he did and I archived that cache.
I called my friend Dave at MG&E who is in charge of all the Solar demonstration projects and found out that they were moving the canopy to this location. Surprisingly he asked if I was going to put a replacement cache at the new location and I said I would. He told me he would notify me when it was completed and he did but I didn't get around to placing a new cache right away. It is now again in place and ready to rejoin the MadiSUN cache community. Have fun!
