Geocache Description:

"Meet & Greet” Event at the above coordinates at Gulf State Park. This event is to enjoy the fellowship of fellow geocachers and the great outdoors. We will begin about 12:30 p.m. until the last of the cachers are feed and told their stories.

There will be hot dogs provided. Any additional dishes, chips, treats, or desserts are welcomed. Please list how many plan to attend and what you think you will be bringing in your log.

Located in the city of Gulf Shores on the coast of Alabama, white sun-kissed beaches, a surging surf, seagulls and seashells greet you at Gulf State Park. Consisting of 6,150 acres with two miles of sugar white sand beaches, Gulf State Park has modern camping, cottages, trails and fishing. There is also tennis, group pavilions, 18-hole golf course, 900 acre lake for fishing, swimming, and water skiing, nature programs and picnic areas and 100+ caches in the park.

So take a break from the beach or caching and swap stories and travel bugs.

Thanks to Gulf State Park for the use of the Pavillion.
