How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Cache is a bison tube that has only a logbook. Please bring your own writing instrument to sign the logbook and replace as found. Parking can be found on Joshua Avenue. Read the description below. Keep in mind that this is optional, and is not required when logging the cache as found.

I've seen this concept before (thanks talonnfenton), but Hamilton clearly needed to have its own. The purpose of this cache is to provide a chance for every single cacher finding this cache get an FTF! No more running out for a potential FTF only to find someone had already found it 7 hours before you, but has not logged it yet. No more claiming you were FTF, but clearly, you weren't. No more arriving at an FTF, only to see someone already signing in. No more ripping names out of the logbook just to get an FTF.

After you find this cache and you are logging it, you can claim your FTF (no matter how many have found it before you). All you have to do is come up with a unique acronym for your First To Find. To log your FTF, put your unique acronym at the top of your log on a line by itself, like the examples below: (along with what the heck it means!)

Examples of logs might me:

FTFAN
First To Find At Night
------------------------------------------------------------
FTFWP
First To Find Wearing Pajamas
------------------------------------------------------------
FTFWDC
First To Find While Drinking Coffee

So, what are you waiting for? Get off the couch, and go claim your FTF!

Congratulations to RunCraigRun on being the first to FTF!
