Stegosaurus is a dinosaur that lived about 150 million years ago, in the late Jurassic period. It's name means roofed lizard because of it's bony back plates. Stegosaurus was a herbivore (plant eater). It grew up to 30 feet long and its fossiled bones have been found in the Western U.S., Southern Africa, Southern India and in China. BYOP
This is a kid-friendly cache but use caution in taking a very short bushwack to the cache location. You can walk or ride a bike easily to reach this series. Cache is a delicate plastic locking container - handle carefully. BYOP
