This cache is part of the “Downtown / Main Street USA" series. Please visit the cache that started it all - Downtown / Main Street USA: Edison, NJ.
This cache is located at a popular restruant in town. It is a small container with room for small items, but it was not large enough for a pen so please bring your own pen! I had hidden another cache in this series, in my former town: Watertown, CT. This area of Blythewood needed a new geocache, and I have received permission to hide it. It is a magnetic key container.
Our history takes us back to a time when our town was called Doko, and the Doko Depot supplied water for the steam engines. Agriculture has always been an integral part of our town and the local farmers market continues a long standing tradition of buying locally from the harvest of our land. Blythewood has a strong equestrian tradition, is home to the USC Equestrian center and served as the training ground for the US Olympic equestrian teams. We also take baseball very, very seriously.
We welcome you to discover us, sit a piece and understand our vision, and enjoy our warm friendly attitude toward life and each other.
Be safe, and have fun. Enjoy the adventure!
