The City Of Tualatin

and Metro Presents

2016 Tualatin River Greenway Trail Coin Challenge

Welcome Geocachers to this area to participate in the 2016 Tualatin River Greenway Trail Coin Challenge. There is a new trail in town with a wide bicycle and walking path that meanders through trees, near the river and past wetlands that we want you to experience. It’s a walk through time with lots of interpretive information signs about the Ice Age. The trail runs from Cook Park through Durham Park, Tualatin Park, Browns Ferry Park and on to the greenway east of the parks. With these new trail caches and the many others placed in and around Tualatin area, we expect you to have some fun and spend a little time with us enjoyment finding caches and earn the beautiful New Geocoin too!

To claim your coin you must find a total of 12 caches, 8 from the required list below and 4 others of your choice in the Tualatin area within 6 miles of the city.

THE RULES:

1. The City Of Tualatin reserves the right to modify the rules at anytime and for any reason. It is suggested that until you have earned and picked up your geocoin that you place cache GC6CADM on your ‘watch list’ so that you will become notified of any rules or substitutions that might occur (see further remarks below).

2. There is a limit of 1 geocoin per geocaching family.

3. You must ‘find’ and ‘log’ your found caches on geocaching.com and enter on your registration card the 8 geocaches that have codewords that you have ‘found’ from the list below plus 4 more geocaches of your choice from the Tualatin area. All geocaches must be ‘found’ within 30 days of claiming your earned geocoin.

4. In the event that you are unable to negotiate the terrain to 'find' a required cache or cannot gain access to the cache for any reason, you may substitute any other Tualatin area cache for one cache. Please point out that change to the person that you submit your registration card to at the redemption site when you go to claim your coin.

If you are unable to get to the redemption sites during regular business hours, please give your card to another geocacher to claim your coin as we are unable to mail your coins to you.
