Happy Trails to longtrails

Many of us in the area know a cacher that goes by the name longtrails. Have you every wondered why he calls himself longtrails? Consider this, his "Hiking Vitae":

On April 8, longtrails will hit a long trail again and begin the hike north on the Pacific Crest Trail, thirty five years after his first trek on this trail. Once again, he will hike the 2650 miles, from the border of Mexico in the south to the Canadian border in the north. Join us to give him a grand send off for this anniversary adventure.
