Geocache Description:

A winter-friendly small camo'd bison tube in the Village of Yarbo. This cache is part of a gradually-expanding G.T.P.R. series gathered into this live bookmark list

Yarbo is a tidily-organized village at then end of its very own, well-maintained access road. Yarbo was the host of the St. Elizabeth School Division that, due to the construction and operation of nearby potash mines. Eventually, each of the schools shut down and students were bussed to Churchbridge or Esterhazy.

Back when the Grand Trunk Railway Company was planning a western expansion of their establish rail system, an unknown person devised an alphabetical naming scheme to name all of the un-named stations and lines, starting in Manitoba, cycling five full rounds of the alphabet, and starting a sixth before finally ending at Prince Rupert, British Columbia. Yarbo is part of the first cycle, situated between Zeneta and Cutarm. The letter 'X' was skipped in the sequence, so the next stop in the the sequence along the G.T.P.R. was Welby, which is found after Cutarm, Gerald and Spy Hill.

Grand Trunk Pacific Railroad went out of business in the early 1920's. The railroad was taken over by the Canadian government and was made part of the Canadian National Railroad which is very active to this day.

You are looking for a small winter-friendly camo'd bison tube a bit beyond the Village Office.

The container includes only a log sheet, so please bring a writing stick.
