No, this is not a typo, this is not the infield as found in baseball but an inner farmer’s field surrounded by houses and development in the NE corner of Dauphin. Someday this field will be developed into houses, condos or apartments and be lost but for now it is a pleasant view when it’s neighbours look out their windows.
Thankfully, the eastern boundary of this field is a fenced drainage ditch as it keeps the snowmobiles and dirt bikes from roaring around and the gravel road slows the traffic down in the area. Original cache has been destroyed and now replaced but remnants still remain from the original so you know your in the right spot.
