This woodpecker lost its lease on its former nest, and had to rebuild
close by.
To find this bird, take exit 278 off I-17 and trave a short distance
east. An unimproved road goes north parallel to I-17. Follow this road
to the nest location. This road requires a high clearance vehicle, and
4X4 is helpful when muddy.
Be careful in your search as to not destroy GZ.
