Shampoodles: Why do Haters Gonna HATE!!! We took some new geocachers up to Shingletown to find our awesome 1600th hide. The hide was 75 containers with cute decoy messages in them but only one had the log in it. To find it faster you could take a nail along the top and find the magnet. This cache had 12 favorites. Read the logs to see how awesome the geocachers who found it thought it was. GC6D9VD. Next to ground zero the area was a raked and a fire pit was built. The tree was empty with branches cut to build the fire. All the containers were removed and burned in the fire. All the wire hangers were left in the fire. We are sad that this person has ruined it for others to find such a nice cache.

Geocache Description:

We will be checking the LOG Sheet and if your name is not on it, your log will be deleted! Have fun with this hide. It will take some time so bring your favorite drink. This is not recommended in the rain or at night. The roads are slippery when wet and we had to use 4 wheel drive when we went off the main dirt road. Check the parking coords for safe parking. Preload as cell service is spotty. Beautiful picnicing area with picnic tables and bbq pits. Bring a fishing pole because they stock the 2 lakes with trout. Bring a friend to cut your time down. Most of all Have Fun!
