Geocache Description:

A winter friendly park and grab series in Merland, Antigonish County

All the caches are named after characters from the legend of Camelot.  I know that "Merland" is not "Merlin", but when the locals pronounce the place name, it sounds more like Merlin than Merland.  Therefore, all caches in this Merland series will take the name of a character or well known item from the legend of Camelot.

Merland was actually named after a priest of the same name who worked there many years ago; in the mid 1800's.  The cemetery at St. Patrick's church contains the graves of Irish pioneers.

There should not be many muggles to worry about on this park and grab series.  All caches are very close to the highway to avoid encroached on private property.  Caches are all winter friendly and camoed taped, from mico to medium size. Please log your DNF's should any issues arise.  Happy caching... and long live Camelot!
