Lovers Walk TB Hotel
Every Saturday morning when I pass the house of Mrs Denyse Nevay on my way to the George Botanical Gardens for the weekly Park Run, I noticed a stone with the words “Lovers Walk” inscribed on it.
As it always capture my attention, I realised that “Lovers Walk” would be the ideal place to erect my TB Hotel as it was no longer possible to keep it at my house in the security estate where I live.
“Lovers Walk” is the entrance to the Denyse’s premises and it was named by her late husband, Paul, who was an architect in George. The name “Lovers Walk” is quite appropriate if one considers that she and Paul have eight children and all of them were raised at this beloved home. Denyse lives there for the past 68 years.
Denyse granted me permission to erect the TB Hotel at “Lovers Walk”. I am therefore extremely grateful to her and would like to acknowledge my indebtedness to her for her willingness and support.
