You will be looking for a unique camoflaged container that blends in well. Because of the tree growth, I'm hoping the coordinates will be as close as possible. Please be careful when looking for the cache, keeping in mind the terrain, and also for unseen wildlife, snakes or what have you. BYOP.
My granddaughter and I have been coming to the Birding and Nature Center since around 2003 or 2004. She was a meer 5 or 6 year old. We found this spot near the Prickly Ash Bridge and Ashlee said it was her favorite spot. We would always come here and sit and just listen to the birds, or just sit in the silence and soak in the beautiful day. Sometimes, we'd bring a picnic lunch to eat. Sometimes Ashlee would climb down the hill nearby. As Ashlee got older, we sat more than she explored, but it has always been our special spot. Ashlee will be a stunning 18 year old on March 28, 2016. When she comes to visit, she is always up for a trip to the Birding Center. We love to come out here and to see all the gardens so full of life and growth. I recently saw baby alligators when scoping out a good hiding place. This cache is not near the alligators, but if you check out the lower wetlands area, you may see them if they are still there hanging out. Please be respectful of all wildlife.
