Our Detroit Tigers 2016 Baseball Team!


• Jordan M. Zimmermann #27 Pitcher
• Born: 5/23/1986 in Auburndale, WI
• Draft: 2007, Washington Nationals, 2nd rd. (67th overall)
• College: Wisconsin - Stevens Point
• Debut: April 20, 2009

Jordan M. Zimmermann...business administration major pitched final season at Division III Wisconsin-Stevens Point with jaw wired shut (hit by a line drive during BP)...was Division III Second-team All-American at UWSP...played baseball, football (caught over 300 yards in a game once) and hoops at Auburndale (WI) High...jumped onto MLB's draft radar with stellar summer (4-2, NWL-best 1.01 ERA, .154 BAA, 10.3 K's per 9.0 innings, 10 starts) pitching for Eau Claire Express in the '06 Northwoods League.
