Geocache Description:

The second cache in my nass valley series, this was placed with a group of friends from the area. The area smells like rotten eggs (the product of sulphur from the volcano) long hike. I've never seen dogs up there and the trail is not appropriate for bikes or motorized vehicles if you intend to relax in the springs. PLEASE bring a bathing suit. Locals don't appreciate people appearing nude (it has happened)

I'm from the local area and I visit it often. This is one of the highlights of the valley. bears and wolves are frequently seen in the area and the entrance is a very smooth stone which I have fallen down. It does hurt please use the ropes provided for your own safety. The trail is muddy during the final stretch of the trail to the hot springs. Changing stalls are available but they are not luxurious as I said PLEASE bring a bathing suit. The gps bounces around sometimes. Have a great time finding this cache. ENJOY
