CAUTION!!!!!! There is NO reason to get on the railroad tracks or railroad right of way to find this cache. CAUTION!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The cache is not at the posted coordinates, But would be a good place to start!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Buried here is William Rankin. While working on the railroad laying the original track going north out of Bison, Oklahoma he suddenly passed away. His fellow workers buried him here about 2 ¼ miles north of Bison between the tracks and the dirt road just off of U.S. 81. Rankin’s grave is marked with a metal sign listing his name and date of death as 8-8-1888. His headstone and foot stone are pieces of railroad track standing on their ends.
