It's Hard to Stop Roland Kent Traditional Cache

This cache has been placed in honor of Roland Kent’s 1000 consecutive days of caching and 2500 finds on March 28, 2016. Not only has RK cached for 1000 days straight, his streak began the day he started Geocaching – thereby he also has the awesome achievement of “zero” slump days.  

While streaking there have been several obstacles.  These include running out of caches near his home and lack of daylight during winter months. BAD WEATHER - including the polar vortex of 2014 and 2015 as well as the record breaking snowfall the winter of 2014, and the floods of August 2014, where his car was flooded and deemed totalled.  In February 2016 even a visit to the urgent care with a high fever couldn't stop him from grabbing his CAD. I think that the only thing that would have potentailly stopped this streak would have been a hospital stay (might have tried to locate a traveling cache) or getting jailed in pursuit of a cache. 

Will Roland ever stop?  It’s going to be hard, that’s for sure; hard to stop as well as hard to keep going.
