It's the Third Penistone Palaver! Load up your Caching bag, Charge your GPS, Sharpen your pencils, Saddle up the Geokids and warm up your drinking arm. From 1pm at The Old Crown pub in Penistone. **1st Place Winner - TheGomSquad**(by 35 minutes!) **2nd Place Winner - Tezz03** **3rd Place Winner - StoneballsRebel** (Joint 3TF Stoneballs Bass & JennyRebel) CONGRATULATIONS!
A nice relaxed event for all Geocachers...It would be lovely if you could bring a Muggle to introduce to Geocaching, too. As in previous years, the event will be held at The Old Crown in Penistone - there is a bus stop nearby (bus services 20, 21, 23, 92,) and Penistone train station approx 5 minute walk away. There are lots of caches in the area, and there might be a few new ones, too! :-) A charity raffle will be held, so donations will be gratefully welcomed. The venue doesn't provide food but are fine with you bringing your own or from the nearby takeaways.
