The place where Douglas MacArthur left for Australia.
Everyone has heard the phrase "I shall return", attributed to Gen. Douglas MacArthur during WWII. He said it after arriving in Australia after being ordered from the defense of Corregidor. This location marks the spot on Corregidor where he boarded a PT boat.
To retain credit for the find, tell me what is embedded in the demolished pier, to the statue's left. I suggest you take a picture of the pier in case you write down the wrong piece of information.
