Hack1of2: This cache had a good run for the past seven years. Numerous times there were reports of the contents getting wet, with us replacing the log several times, so it's time to archive. In the future we hope to place more long-term watertight containers.

Geocache Description:

This cache is less than 10 feet from the open field near the group campsites, and located about 300 feet from the Ice Age National Scenic Trail, in the Kettle Moraine State Forest. So if you're bushwhacking through 300 feet of forest from the trail, have at it, but there's an easy way to get to the cache by walking through the field from the north/northeast!

This cache was placed for the annual Wisconsin Geocaching Association (WGA) Campout. Each year the WGA has a campout for geocachers in a different part of the state.

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Amanda Kutka of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager. The DNR Notification form and land manager information can be obtained at: http://dnr.wi.gov/files/PDF/forms/2500/2500-118.pdf.
